You’re Not Failing-The System Is
We all want to feel better in our bodies-to think more clearly, have more energy, and show up fully in our work and lives. But we’re up against environments that make it difficult.
We’re surrounded by convenience foods, overwhelmed by stress, and bombarded with conflicting health advice-creating confusion about what actually leads to real change. Whether improving personal health or supporting a team or community, the effort often doesn’t match the results.
Fatigue, weight gain, high blood pressure, and digestive issues persist—despite best intentions.
The problem isn’t a lack of motivation. It’s a lack of the right framework to create lasting change.
No one should have to fight for their health with only part of the picture.
A clear, compassionate path to better health exists-one that supports both body and mind and works with real life, not against it.
Hello, I’m Elizabeth - and I have lived the struggle.
For nearly 25 years, I lived in a cycle of yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, and frustration. At my heaviest, I weighed nearly 300 pounds and struggled with asthma, hypertension, and chronic pain. Every failed attempt didn’t just affect my body - it eroded my confidence.
Everything changed when I stopped chasing quick fixes and started asking deeper questions:
Why do I eat the way I do? What’s really driving these patterns?
Through that journey - and years of advanced clinical and academic training - I developed what is now known as The Madison Model, my signature biopsychosocial-spiritual framework for lasting transformation.
This model addresses not just what you eat, but why you eat, how you live, what you believe, and how you care for your whole self.
It helped me lose over 115 pounds and maintain a healthy weight for more than 23 years - and today, I teach it to individuals and organizations seeking clarity, confidence, and sustainable results.
With a PhD in integrative and functional nutrition and more than 35 years of counseling experience, I combine science, faith, and real-world application to offer compassion, structure, and a clear path forward.
Transformation doesn’t require more willpower. It requires the right model.
Everyone have the capacity for change and I’ll help you unlock it.
The Madison Model™
Sustainable health change is not achieved through willpower alone.
The Madison Model™ is Elizabeth Madison’s proprietary framework for sustainable health and behavior change. Developed through decades of clinical counseling, research, and lived experience, the model addresses the full context in which change actually occurs.
Most health frameworks focus on individual habits alone. The Madison Model™ goes further-addressing the social, cultural, and environmental factors that shape them.
At the center are four interconnected forms of nourishment: Physical, Emotional & Mental, Social & Cultural, Spiritual
When these domains are aligned, individuals can build the resilience, clarity, and momentum required for lasting change.
Rooted in Food as Medicine and behavioral science, The Madison Model™ provides a practical pathway to long-term health.

Where’s Elizabeth Now?
When this work is implemented, individuals begin to heal-physically, emotionally, and spiritually-and organizations build environments where lasting health becomes possible.
Without it, the same patterns persist; fatigue, chronic disease, and confusion-leaving individuals stuck and programs falling short of the outcomes they’re meant to achieve.
